Disaster relief

It is a reality that large scale destructive natural disasters are now occurring more frequently than before. These disasters are disproportionately affecting areas with electrical infrastructure that cannot withstand the event. Portable renewable energy storage systems like the EnergyPod require no external fuel, saving costs, weight load and cargo space. The EnergyPods can be deployed either by truck, helicopter or boat for immediate power support in areas hit by natural disasters. Airports

Airplanes and helicopters require a Ground Power Unit (GPU). These GPU’s can be either a fixed or a mobile unit, which can be connected to the electrical system of an aircraft while on the ground to provide 120V AC or 28V DC power.

A GPU forms part of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) which is essential to support aircraft during maintenance and standby purposes on the ground.

Lighthouses

Providing power for lighthouses on and off the coast has always been a challenge due to the harsh environment and limited space. With its small footprint, the MonoPod is a compact, self-sufficient power plant which can support lighthouses with their load requirements.
